View Full Version : Mobile forum option?

I know that a lot of the forum software out there allows for the forums to be viewed in a text-only or mobile format. Is that an option with our current forums that could be turned on? I am doing a lot more with my Treo 650, and being able to read and post to the forums using my Treo would just rock.
Just wondering if it was a possibility and if anyone else would use that feature.

under the style selection in the bottom left I added a "mobile" skin for you tame. make sure to bookmark the forums as index.php instead of cmps_index.php. The cmps_index.php bookmark will take you to the front page with the different colums. Let me know how it works out for you.

The one thing I am missing with the Mobile skin is the ability to view unread posts. I have been doing some reading on other skin options and I found the following thread that shows a modified version of the Mobile skin used here. I will research it more as I am trying to learn more about how it all works, but I wanted to give you the link in case you were interested:

That is EXACTLY the skin you're using with the mobile option.

I guess I should have pointed out that it's in like page 6 or so of the thread. Someone on the thread has enhanced the original Mobile skin to add stuff like read/unread icons, a toolbar at the top, and a few other minor features. I'll read more about it today and see what I can find out.
