I thought some of you parents might find this thread interesting.
i think the guy that responded with the following to that post is right on
"Your posts make me think you have bigger issues than parents playing WoW."

I have to laugh at that, I am a stay at home step dad atm, look at the raids I miss, you think its because I dont want to go on the raids lol? No, its because I have rl and family to attend to.That guy really needs to get a life.
Edit- "So free time is ignoring your kids when they have nightmares and spending so much time on WoW that you have a full suit of epix? Casual, sure, but we know how MMOs go. "
Lol Have to say I have alot of purples, closing in on full eventually hehe, and yet I dont neglect the family......guess it can be done!!! =p

Nuh-Uh. Yer Wrong. Instead of playing WoW while your child/ren are asleep, you should be hovering over them in their sleep.

Hehe, yeah... just to make sure you're there for them when they have nightmares. So while you're waiting for them to wake up in a panicked sweat, why not play a little WoW on your laptop?
My kids (twin sons age 5 and daughter age 8) enjoy watching me play occasionally, they watch "Most Haunted" and "Mystery Hunters" on the Discovery Channel and yet, I can't remember the last time any of them had nightmares. They must just be maladjusted or something because of all the gaming I do... yeah, that's it.

Hrmm, seems they may have deleted the thread on the WoW site, or my stuff is just broken. But as a relatively new papa, I can definitely say family comes first. I would love nothing more than to hit raids even once a week, but at this time, my wife and son both need help around the house. As he gets older and his sleep schedule gets a little more 'normal' I'm sure that may change, but she and he will always be my first priority. Makes me sad to see parents neglect kids for something as ridiculous as a game =\
On that note, one of these days I'll get off my lazy duff and post some pics of lilfr0t =D
PS - Any helpful hints on getting some semblence of order at home with Chillin's from the experienced Tamale parents would be geatly appreciated =D
