So what did you all think of the game? Lots of folks complaining about officiating so I’ll post my reactions.

1qtr TD called back, the dood extended his arm and pushed off, no matter the degree of the push off, he pushed off and it was called fair.

Rothelisberger TD – watch the replay the nose of the football crosses the white line… TD!

Holding call – ill agree, shady call, the steeler’s guy shoulders were leaning backwards as it would look if someone were being held but I cant exactly say it was holding.

Steelers D and Seattle’s O, how many times did seattle move the ball down field only to end up with a field goal attempt that they missed several of? Sure they may have outgained on yards, but they blew plenty of opportunities on their own to score, without any penalties… How about Jackson unable to score a TD and instead stepped out of bounds? Not keeping your head in the game FTL..

Seattle’s D and Steelers O, Seattle came up big stopping a variety of plays, but couldn’t stop the big plays. You can’t let a dood run for 79yds to a TD and expect to win the BIG ONE, or improperly defend a reverse trick pass play for a TD…

BTW: Go Chiefs ’06!

Well played game on both sides , cant blame the officials. The game goes so fast they are going to miss a call once in a while.

The one pass interference call was spot on. He cleary pushed off the corner.

Giants in 06!

Great game by two excellent teams. Seattle had a very good run the first quarter, and looked to be the winner. But Pittsburg made the big plays. Regardless of who had the TOP or the most yards is the numbers on that score board. Seattle had numberous opportunities to score and they folded like a card table. I think Holmgren and his staff was out coached IMO w/ a little bit of luck from the refs. I don't think there were many erronous calls. The key ones were clearly called correctly.

I can't agree with all the calls the officials made, but you all must agree that all the close calls went Pittsburgh's way. The offensive pass interference call was total BS, and not 'spot on' as Ren alludes to. If you watch the replay of the route being run, the Seattle receiver was actually interfered with before he pushed off.

But, that being said I think the team that wanted the win the most won. Seattle didn't seem to be playing with any sense of urgency, or desire. Pittsburgh wanted it, and took it.

Can you say 'Bengals in '06'??
